Exclusive retail partner for Motorola Moto G, Moto X, and Moto X, Flipkart handsets in India – started teasing the upcoming launch of a new smartphone via its Twitter account. Trust me, the teaser however haven’t mentioned clearly which phone is being referred to. But expected to be the successor of the Moto series, might be Moto G based on previous leaks.
On Tuesday, the company has posted its first teaser, where the tweet asked followers,
What happens when the exceptional smartphone gets event better? Watch this space for the next level!” along with an image with the caption,”Great pictures deserve an exceptional screen. The next level of the exceptional smartphone. Coming soon on Flipkart.”
The second one posted on Twitter on September 3 by Flipkart, reads,
Listen to every beat, as sounds come alive on this exceptional smartphone! Watch this space for the next level,” along with an image with the caption, “Amazing sounds deserve exceptional audio. The next level of the exceptional smartphone. Coming soon on Flipkart.”
Previous leaks have indicated that the successor to the Moto G will feature a larger and higher resolution display, and sports a dual-front speakers like the Moto E. Motorola itself calls Moto G as the “Exceptional phone” at an “Affordable price”, which would tie-in fairly with the teasers that Flipkart has posted on Twitter.
Software wise, the teaser images may also pointing new features, as with the first image a network signal strength indicator is visible – tipped at a new lock screen or home screen feature based around camera-centric wallpapers.
However, the second teaser, shows up the media controls and speaker symbol, which may again hint at a new lock screen and home screen feature for the native music player. Allegedly leaked specifications for the successor to the Moto G previously indicates that it will be called the Moto G2 or the new Moto G.
