The Taiwanese electronics, ASUS had as expected launched three new ZenFone smartphones to Indian market, alongside also announced one refreshed version of its voice-calling tablet, the FonePad 7 (FE170CG) as well. Full details after this break!
All the three ASUS ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 smartphones has got their own differences and variants as though. The Asus ZenFone handsets include the new ZenUI skin on top of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (all 3 devices are upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat). ZenUI is built-in with simplified, easy-to-access icons and menus, just by selecting themes you can match the device colors, and a What’s Nexts feature to keep a track of a user’s daily schedule is also implemented on all these handsets.
The ASUS ZenFone 4, ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 also comes with a ‘PixelMaster’ camera technology that includes a set of best features such as Selfie Mode and Depth of Field Mode, Low Light Mode and Time Rewind to deliver what actually Asus calls it an enhanced image capturing experience. Great!

The Asus ZenFone 4 is a dual-Micro-SIM smartphone sports a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixel) resolution display (translating to a 233ppi pixel density). Powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with Hyper-Threading Technology (implying 4 threads) and paired with 1GB of RAM.
The ZenFone 4 handset also poses with an 5-megapixel rear-facing and a 0.3MP front-facing camera optics. The Phone although features an 8GB on built-in storage, which can further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options on ASUS ZenFone 4 include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and Micro-USB. Packs 1600mAh battery and aims to provide better battery life.
This Asus ZenFone 4 would become a big rival to the very popular Moto E and available in two different variants (4-inch (A400CG) model priced at Rs. 5,999), and the 4.5-inch (A450CG) model announced without a price.
The ASUS ZenFone 5 also a dual-SIM smartphone features 5-inch 720p iPS HD display (1280 x 720) resolution screen. Powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor with Hyper-Threading technology (implying 4 threads), coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The ZenFone 5 smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2MP front-facing sensor for video calling, poses with an 8GB internal storage, and the handset’s memory space can be upgradeable via microSD card up to 64GB.
Connectivity options of the ASUS ZenFone 5 are same as ZenFone 4 (3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and Micro-USB), but the battery capacity on the ZenFone 5 is bumped to 2110mAh along with increased dimensions – 148.2 x 72.8 x 10.3-5.5mm – and a weight of 145 grams.
The ZenFone 5 will be available in Charcoal Black, Pearl White, Cherry Red, and Champagne Gold. Best competitor to the Motorola MOTO G. The ZenFone 5 (8GB) has been priced at Rs. 9,999, while the 16GB storage variant pricing has not yet been revealed.

The ZenFone 6 sports an 13-megapixel rear-facing and a 2MP front-facing camera for video calling. Like the ZenFone 5, the ZenFone 6 can also be expandable its storage capacity up to 64GB via microSD card.
The ASUS ZenFone 6 includes a 3230mAh battery capacity and measures 66.9 x 84.3 x 9.9-5.5mm, while weighing 196 grams. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and Micro-USB.
The ZenFone 6 is available in Charcoal Black, Pearl White, Cherry Red, and Champagne Gold. Priced at Rs. 16,999 for its 16GB storage variant.
