How to Download iOS 8 / 8.0.2 and Install it on your device the perfect way:
Recommended! Way to install a major new iOS 8 update is to clean install it. Restoring your device to install of iOS 8 will evidently helps you get the best performance out of your gadget.
Step 1: Download iTunes 11.4 for Windows or Mac.
Step 2: Before you begin installing iOS 8 on your device, make a complete backup of your smartphone or tablet either via iTunes or via iCloud.

Step 4: Start iTunes. On your Mac, hold Alt key (if on Windows PC, it will be Shift key), and click on the Restore iPhone… button. iTunes will eventually allow you to select the .IPSW firmware you downloaded in the previous step. Select it.

Actually, the new iOS 8.0.2 released as an immediate update to fix Cellular “No Service” and broken Touch ID issues, seen with the previous iOS 8.0.1 IPSW.. Installing 8.0.2 on your devices will be good for now!
