One day after seeding the first Beta of iOS 5.0.1 to developers, Apple today has release iOS 5.0.1 beta 2 to the registered developers of iOS Dev Center.

Whle the first beta was was released a few days back bringing back multitouch gestures to the original iPad and fixing the battery issues in iPhone 4S. Developers can Download iOS 5.0.1 beta 2 Firmware (build 9A404).

The news of seed coms straight from the Apple i the form of an Update posted on iOS Dev Center about iOS 5.0.1 beta 2 works for iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3G/4G, original iPad and iPad 2.

The second beta build 9A404 of iOS 5.0.1 IPSW comes just after its first beta was seeded to developers. While are not sure of what’s included in beta 2, it is safe to say that it does whatever iOS 5.0.1 beta 1 did: such as adding multitasking gestures to the original iPad, tightens security (to fix iPad 2 Smart Cover security issue?) and fix general bugs, came up with much more improvements compared to the previous update.
