The ‘Corona’ untether was first released for owners of older A4 devices, but not compatible to use exploit on the newer, dual-core A5 devices.
Think you are an iPhone or iPad owners and already using the benefits that a jailbreak provides, and cnaces are you also have a copy of Apple’s iBooks installed on your device, which offer it as a free of charge when you first open the App Store on your devices. While Apple has recently announced a number of new initiatives centered around the education sector in the New York, which directly relates to use the iBooks, noboubt promoting many more thousands of downloads of the free of charge application.
Well! we now have an untethered jailbreak for all devices on iOS 5, we also have an updated iBooks that offers more unique and dynamic content, but facing with a ctach right? All done by Apple, simply by including some protection, secially meant that after jailbreaking the device, certain application would immediately crash upon launch, with iBooks being one of them. The 1.0.5 version of Corona in Cydia was pushed to users to solve this crash upon launch issue after being updated with the help developer who would previously attempted to fix issue himself by creating apatch named xBooks.
Various users have been reporting that text and images randomly disappear on publications that feature content protected by digital rights management technology.
Thnak’s to legendary developer PlanetBeing, version 1.0.6 of Corona is currently in the process of being pushed to Cydia to fix the randomly occurring DRM bug. Pod2g has tweeted his followers to let them know the news he discovered during an IRC chat session. If the iBooks issue is affecting you, then make sure you check Cydia within the next couple of days to grab the updated Corona.
