Call of Duty: Ghosts Has Shipped $1 Billion Worth Through Retail Channels, Double XP Weekend Starts November 8th

Just in 24-hours of availability the launch of CoD: Ghosts – single player title has managed to bag more than $1 billion in revenue through retail sales channels, apparently breaking the record set by Grand Theft Auto 5 – reaching that number in 3 days. Activision has officially announced that the first Call of Duty: Ghosts double XP weekend will be held on November 8-11. Players can now earn double experience points starting Friday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. PDT and running through Monday, November 11th at the same time scape. Full details after this break!

The game’s publisher, Activision, has unwrapped the lid of first day Call of Duty: Ghosts sales figures in a publicly released press statement and announced that the boosting income has been accumulated through worldwide sales of the title into retail stores.


On November 5, Call of Duty: Ghosts hits the stores as the latest installment in the extremely popular CoD franchise.
