Amazon has launched its Android tablet called “Kindle Fire” and sold upto one million in a week of December. Now confirmed that the upcoming Wi-Fi Kindle Touch will be now available for delivery across the globe.

International users are anxious to get their hands on the touchscreen iteration of the reader have reason to celebrate with the Amazon Kindle Touch the popular e-reader available directly from the Amazon.com currently. As none of the company’s region-specific portals have the device listed yet.

Talking about the device which features a sleek design and light weight with an easy-to-use touchscreen with multi-touch gesture with Wireless adapter built-in. WiFi Kindle Touch’s 6-inch display is pwoered by E-ink technology. The WiFi connectivity allows users to download books in as less 60 seconds, and upto 3,000 of said books can be stored in that touch tablet.

The major feature in the device is text-to-speech technology, and supports audiobook playback and MP3 supported. An interesting feature included is the X-ray feature, which lets users browse for information regarding important historical figures and phrases that they encounter while reading. There are some functionality caveats as well: depending on your region, you may not be able to download books over Wi-Fi (Bulgaria appears to be limited to sideloading via USB, for example), and the Kindle catalog appear to still be focused primarily on English-language titles.

This sentence is for Amazon Prime members, with a surprise they can also borrow books for free from a library. The Amazon Kindle Touch Wi-Fi weighs only 7.5 oz and has dimensions of 4.7 x 0.4 x 6.8 inches.

To see whether your country is eligible for shipping and know about what restrictions you might be facing by heading over to the link given below.

The Amazon Kindle Touch Wi-Fi Goes on sale, currently priced at $99 at Amazon’s official website.

Tucows for the US natives and small businesses and family, launched Ting a new contract-free mobile phone service that brings clarity, usability and significant monthly savings and so on. Some users may recall Tucows from the time that they used Windows 95. The company, you may remember downloading a few shareware titles to your Compaq or Packard Bell courtesy, the name once stood for The Ultimate Collection of Winsock Software, was once famous for offering shareware packages.

However today, Tocows is no longer as popular as before for shareware but intends to be a popular company by launching a new mobile phone service called ting.

Ting offers a contract-free services and which is applicable on the Sprint network, allowing users to pay based on their actual usage, similar to Virgin mobile and Boost Mobile. Aprt from this, however it gives a special reimbursements for text, data and voice allotments that have not been used by consumers. For all the budget-friendly users, this will be a good news, as it basically means more savings.

Since its a contract free service (absense), Ting subscribers must have to pay for their mobile phones initially. Among the 4G-capable handsets currently available are Zio ($105), Optimus S ($155), Transform ($245), Conquer 4G ($295), EVO Shift 4G Detail ($395), and Photon 4G ($545). Feature phones such as the Samsung Reclaim ($45) and the M360 ($65) are also available.

Ting Plans revealed, from Engadget Blog:

There are six smartphones total, beginning with the Zio ($105) and Optimus S ($155) on the low-end. Beyond that, shoppers will discover the Transform ($245) and Conquer 4G ($295) in the middle of the pack, all the way up to the EVO Shift 4G Detail ($395) and Photon 4G ($545). Each of the 4G-capable handsets may use Sprint’s WiMAX network. Meanwhile, two feature phones are also in the mix, which include the Samsung Reclaim ($45) and the M360 ($65).

Ting’s rates offer $3 for a 10-minute voice plan, and $9 fpr 500 minutes and along with a $3 cost plan offers 100 SMS messages, and $11 for 4,000. Data rates are of course little higher and while the cost of 100MB is $3, $24 for 1gb, $42 for 2GB. No additional charges for tethering and Hotspot connections yet, means its free.

Rumors and leaks surface on the web for a long time until the company release the original product to the public. Today Asus’s new Android tablet which is in works leaked, on the top of the new ASUS Transformer Prime, and this latest version device comes with the model number of TF300T. Asus since the recent launch of the Transformer Prime Android tablet has been busy working with slate’s issues. But didn’t stopped building tablets and now. Details after the jump!

Asus recently launched the latest version of Transformer Prime with a high resolution display and that came up with the model number T7300T, so this Prime model could possibly be a budget version tablet.

We are sorry to say that we have some leaked pictures of ASUS TF300T Android tablet, but no detials about the exact what might integrated into it, however could be a budget version of Transformer Prime with higher resolution display along with Dual core processor instead of quad-core version.

I think it was less than a week ago i installed Mozilla’s Firefox 10 on my desktop and on Android device (Galaxy S II), today a beta of Firefox 11 is out already? What is happening right now is the Mozilla development is pushing out updates faster than a Google Chrome. While this isn’t a final version, as a beta version of Firefox 11 may just bring some updated add-ons and some great features if you are a fan of this foxy browser.

The Web is all about innovation, and Firefox sets the pace with dozens of new features to deliver a faster, more secure and customizable Web browsing experience for all. You don’t have to worry about just firefox 10.0 install, why? Because there’s a new Foxxy browser carving your attention. The firefox 11.0 beta 1 as a fresh build with an updated migration tool that can also import Chrome bookmarks, history, and cookies, and features add-on syncing capabilities, redesigned media controls for HTML5 video, and support for the CSS text-size-adjust property and the outerHTML property.

Firefox latest beta version also brings some good news for developers like the “Page Inspector 3D view” and the newer style Editor tool, SPDY support and more with stability. allowing devs to visualize a webpage in full three dimensional goodness using the page inspector 3D view which has been built in and if the system is used compatible with WebGL then viewing the page in 3D will offer a complete new prospective on web page structure and make up.

The official Firefox beta 11 release notes contain a number of feature additions as well as fixes and updates to certain aspects of the browser and reads as follows:

* [NEW] Firefox can now migrate your Bookmarks, History and Cookies from Google Chrome.
* [NEW] With Sync Enabled, add-ons can now be synchronised across your computers.
* [NEW] The CSS text-size-adjust property is now supported.
* [HTML5] The outerHTML property is now supported on HTML elements.
* [HTML5] View source syntax highlighting now uses the HTML5 parser.
* [FIXED] Redesigned media controls for HTML5 video playback.
* [FIXED] Firefox notifications may not work properly with Growl 1.3 or later.

Unlike that in the Google Chrome browser, the update process occurs seamlessly in the background. This silent update feature will also now be included with Firefox on Windows. The somewhat annoying User Account Control, which seems to require permissions to do anything, will only need to be granted access one time only, meaning after the initial permission has been granted; updates will be handled seamlessly upon restart of the browser.

Will all the new features and some bug fixes came along with the new beta version of Firefox implementations. Visit downloads page for Windows, Mac and Linux compatible versions, or, simply refer to download links below to download Firefox 11 in Standard English:

As you all are aware of Verizon’s unlimited data plans, which was officially stopped in last year July. But with a simple trick that can get the unlimited plan back again, even though if you buy iPhone after the plans are expired. How? That’s what we are going to discuss now in this post. Details after the jump!

This trick or you can call it a method has worked for various devices including iPhones and other Android devices.

Want to grab some additional Dropbox space for free? Dropbox normally provides only 2GB of free storage with its account. Good news is that for a special beta period you can get up to 4.5GB extra space, how? Details after the jump!

Dropbox actually is testing their automatic photo and video uploading feature. The beta testing update will provide you with 500MB of free space when you hit the automatic upload option, then 500MB more each time you hit the limit up to 4.5GB more total.Means, in exchange for trying their experimental build, you can get up to 4.5GB of extra space for free.

Experimental Dropbox build 1.3.12 imports photos, and videos automatically from cameras, phones, and SD cards and the batch uploads and downloads files. The forum post on Dropbox David E says:

Another day another build. We’re trying to snipe all the most common bugs. Keep plugging in those cameras!

During this beta period, we are also offering additional free space to test automatic uploading of photos and videos. For every 500MB of photos and videos automatically uploaded, you’ll receive another 500MB space bonus, up to 4.5GB total. [Update: To clarify, you can get up to 5GB of free space with this feature, if you count the initial 500MB space for the first photo import].”

While the downloads for Windows and Mac OS X are only available from the forum’s post. Dropbox is also running a beta testing of their official Dropbox Android app with other enticing data giveaway, to test the release of an experimental beta Dropbox Android app v2.0.9 that includes a brand new automatic Camera Upload feature.

Its highly advised to make a backup of what’s in your Dropbox before upgrading to its build (beta or experimental). After installation it automatically detects SD cards and starts uploading the photos, videos and puts them into a new “Camera Uploads” folder and the account will be added with extra 500MB automatically.

Note: This import feature doesn’t work on Linux or Mac 10.4. On Windows, you have to enable Autoplay for the feature to work.

The Dropbox Experimental Android Forum Build 2.0.9, to give it its full name, is not in the Android Marketplaceyet. The available options and download links are below, so make sure you go and earn that additional, free storage space.

Now, which you are going to see are the alleged press shots of a new Android 4.0-based Samsung smartphone, which are leaked and will be launched at this years MWC later this month. new Ice Cream Sandwich powered Samsung Smartphone leaked. Details after the jump!

This news came straight from the BGR in a form of short post in which they discuss the press shot sourced from Elder Murtazin of Mobile-Review.com.

What the press shots shows? Its another Samsung Galaxy S II variant powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Unlike the Galaxy Nexus, its having and off-screen capacitive buttons and it comes along with the next version of Samsung’s popular TouchWiz UI on top.

From BGR:

Samsung has plans to announce a new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-powered smartphone at the annual Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona later this month. An image of the unknown device was published on Thursday by industry insider Eldar Murtazin, though no additional details were provided.

Murtazin has stated that this device will be formally announced later this month at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

We have no name for it yet, but one thing’s for sure, this isn’t the Galaxy S III. Firstly, because the Galaxy S III can’t just be a white Galaxy S II with different buttons and, secondly, because Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy S III will not be announced at MWC. Instead, it will be unveiled at a separate event close to its commercial availability.

We heard yesterday that the Samsung Galaxy S II Plus rumored to come with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, a WVGA display and a dual core 1.5GHz processor, but now it looks like handset will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich instead.

Waiting for the announcement is the best part, what’s more, just a few days from today you can see what Samsung to unveil, a Galaxy S III or a Galaxy S II Plus or better than that. Stay tuned, we will let you know if news about the new Samsung Galaxy S II Plus.

So, Microsoft is now looking to make some major changes in store for its latest version of its operating systems.

The leaked details points that the Windows Phone 8 will be released after the WP Tango update, which also reveals more in a video from Microsoft’ WIN Phone manager oe Belifoire, and the video was intended for Microsoft’s partners at Nokia.

The access to the video has already grabbed by the guys from PocketNow – the report, Windows Phone 8 will support multi-core processors, a total of four new screen resolutions and the addition of removable SD card storage.

Windows Phone 8 to offer support for NFC (Near Field Communications), and it will come along with some sort of contact less payment systems which Microsoft calls it the “Wallet experience”. Might be similar to Google’s Wallet?

developers will be able to use most of the same code when porting a Windows 8 app over to the Windows Phone platform. Of course, both platforms will share the same Metro-style interface, and that NFC radio will allow for tap-to-share capabilities between various Windows 8 devices.

Apple is readying to go for a launch of the iPhone 5 at the companies Worldwide Developers Conference that will be held in coming June. The Chinese-language Commercial Times has quoted Daiwa Securities as indicating that the iPhone 5 will be unveiled at WWDC 2012 this June for a summer launch, reports DigiTimes.

Apple in 2011 has decided that it would break the regular launch pattern for the anticipated iPhone and deviate from the traditional june reveal. Following the fall launch of its widely popular iPhone 4S last year, Apple reportedly plans to its summer unveiling schedule and launch the 5th-generation iPhone during its WDC in June.

According to Digitimes report:

The iPhone 5 will continue to utilize glass to glass (G/G) touch panel technology which will benefit current touch panel suppliers TPK Holding and Wintek, the paper quoted the securities house as saying.

From Forbes:

This is not exactly a startling revelation, but noteworthy nonetheless. Expect the rumor mill to start spinning into overdrive as WWDC gets closer.

The really interesting question is not so much the timing but what the new version will add to the mix: LTE? NFC? A thinner case? A faster processor? Anti-gravity levitation? X-ray vision? Built-in Taser? A rocket-propelled grenade launcher?

Though AT&T has some phones and tablets, it doesn’t have a broad range of devices on its 4G LTE network. Now the company is planning to launch a big bunch of LTE devices in 2012 like the Samsung Galaxy Note and the Nokia Lumia 900. On other side, Amazon currently has a deal on the carrier’s 4G LTE enabled Galaxy S II, the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket.

While both Amazon and AT&T had been offering the price of Galaxy S II Skyrocket at $199.99, now Amazon dropped the price down $60 and now the device falls to $140. Surely it is worth to hurry!

Amazon is coming with some offers for the individual plan and family plan customer’s. The discount offer is also available for those who have an individual plan on AT&T and want to upgrade it. For the upgrade of the family plan consumers, they have to pinch their pockets for $209.

Before you are going to get the Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, mind one thing. AT&T has currently spread it’s network only in 30 markets in the United States. Because the Skyrocket is a 4G LTE network device, and in case if you don’t have the 4g LTE in your city, you have no other way than to put your device under the bed until the AT&T’s HSPA+ network arrives. We hope you will get it as soon as possible as AT&T is working hard to spread it’s network within a short period.

The Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket is a solid phone with data speeds that can reach up to 10 times faster than normal 3G and probably the best smartphone to have.

Because the offer is so hot not to resist, don’t miss the Galaxy S II with a price drop at Amazon available from here.

While everybody waiting for an official announcement for the upcoming Motorola Droid 4 for Verizon, today some news poped-up about the release and price of the device. It seems that the release date is getting close and we got the exact price.

Today the Droid 4 has arrived on Verizon’s Droid Does website with a ‘coming soon’ tag and lot of specifications.

As we knew, at CES 2012 Motorola and Verizon announced the Driod 4 without any clues about it’s release date and price. It unleashed the rumors for the wild guessings and some speculations stood firmly on February 9th release date and a $199 price tag of the device.

Amazingly the speculations are absolutely right! With a new contract, the 4G LTE smartphone comes for $ 199. The release date February 9 attached with the sentiment of the Verizon as it loves to launch phones on thursday!

Now the Verizon is offering a promotion on the Motorola Droid 3 which ends on February 6th. Here comes the guessings with carrier’s affection for Thursday. Because February 9th is Thursday! So, that date might be a sure hit.

The Droid 4 has landed on the Droid Does website with plenty of information and it also allows you to glance over Verizon’s other high-end 4G LTE smartphones.

Let me remind you with some key specifications of the Droid 4:

* Powered by Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, to be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
* 4.0-inch qHD display with scratch and scrape resistant glass
* MotoCast for remote streaming of photos, videos, music, documents, presentations and more from home or office computers
* 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot supporting up to eight Wi-Fi-enabled devices
* Water-repellent nanocoating for splash resistance
* Business Ready with government-grade encryption (FIPS 140-2) for email, calendar and contacts; preloaded with CitrixReceiver for Android (available in webtop) for desktop virtualization and access

Apart from these specs, It also features the best physical keyboards of all-time. So, wait for an official announcement next week to know more about the device.

Grab it right now: The Motorola’s Droid 4 is now available from the Verizon Wireless “Droid Does” website.

A Chronic Dev Team has just pushed a tweet that the Greenpois0n Absinthe tool used for the jailbreak of A5 devices (iPad 2 and iPhone 4S) on iOS 5.0.1, has just been updated to version 4.0.

Reminding once again, Pod2g a legendary hacker along with Dream Team (PlanetBeing, Saurik, P0sixninja) was formed, consisting of some of the cream of the jailbreak scene, and aiding the Chronic Dev-Team to meet the demands of the famously-impatient (and oft ungrateful) public as quickly as possible.

We have already seen how to jailbreak untethered on iOS 5.0.1 for iPad 2 and iPhone 4S using the best jailbreaking tools like Absinthe, which updated three times to fix bugs and the Greenpois0n’s untether jailbreaking tool now updates to version Absinthe v4.0.

This update brings Mac users supporting os x 10.5 for PPC and Intel users and now available for Windows, Linux for a free download.

Although jailbreaking in any way, shape or form is viewed in a negative light by those gracing Cupertino, Tim Cook’s software developers could certainly take a leaf from the Chronic Dev-Team’s book when it comes to swiftly releasing updates to fix problems.

Here’s the note of changlog listing the improvements and fixes as well:

Version 0.4

    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    Mac: added support for OSX 10.5, PPC and Intel CPU
    added consistency check on startup to make sure required files are in place
    Windows: fixed bug in payload generator that might cause a crash
Important Note: If you have jailbroken your Pad 2 or 4S already, then no need to re-jailbreak, since this release is for those who haven’t yet jailbreak their A5 iOS devices. Grab the direct links straight from the Greenpois0n website posted below.
For jailbreaking iPhone 4S and iPad 2, just follow our complete guide posted here to jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 using Absinthe Windows or Mac. New version 10.7.3, comes as the latest update to the “worlds most advanced operating system” now get support for new languages along with performance improvements and some bug fixes.
The final version of the very first download-only released last July, these minor updates have been fairly regular as part of every OS X release’s naturally. Some minor updates brought some bug fixes, integrations, iCloud support, AirPort utility, Xcode and much like many other point releases for previous iterations of OS X, this latest one doesn’t bring much newer to the table from previous update. Since by installing them, you are essentially performing maintenance on your Mac’s software, and also adviced you to perform the update as soon as possible.
Apple pushed update OS X Lion v10.7.3, and it’s available via Software Update on your Mac. Here’s what’s new:
Here is an excerpt from the release notes:
The OS X Lion v10.7.3 Update includes Safari 5.1.3 and fixes that:
* Add Catalan, Croatian, Greek, Hebrew, Romanian, Slovak, Thai, and Ukrainian language support
        * Address issues when using smart cards to log into OS X
        * Address compatibility issues with Microsoft Windows file sharing
        * Address an issue printing Microsoft Word documents that use markup
        * Address a graphics performance issue after sleep on some earlier iMacs that use ATI graphics
        * Resolve a Wi-Fi connection issue when waking from sleep
        * Address an issue that may prevent Safari from opening before joining a wireless network
        * Fix a potential issue authenticating to an SMB DFS share
        * Include RAW image compatibility for additional digital cameras
You can find more detailed information in the full full release notes.
Just a couple days ago Apple released an update to AirPort Utility to look more like the iOS counterpart, and also recently updated Final Cut X.
In order to install it, simply head over to said Software update from the Apple menu, you Mac will automatically search for updates available and install the update as shown in the screenshot above. Below are the direct links in case you wish to acquire them manually, and directly from Apple’s servers.
As pointed in this post; its highly recommended that you update to OS X Lion 10.7.3 to ensure stability on all your Macs in your home or office places.
However Safari 5.1.3 can be found as a separate download for your Mac, but highly adviced to go ahead with the full OS X Lion 10.7.3 update to get complete advantage of stability package at a time.
When Apple seeded the OS X Lion 10.7.3 beta update previously for developers, which pointed twoards new things to come in future Macs, such Retina display support. But the final build haven’t brought such to the tablet, brings bug fixes and new version of Apple’s web browser for Mac, Safari.
Below direct download links can be consumed if you have OS X Server installed:
