Asus Unveils VivoTab 8 Windows 8.1 Tablet With Quad-Core Intel Atom SoC

Asus has officially announced its first 8.1-inch Windows 8.1 tablet, the VivoTab 8 powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom-powered Z3745 chipset. Sporst the similar specs of the previously released VivoTab Note 8 with 8″ HD screen, but this new Windows tablet doesn’t feature a Wacom Digitizer Stylus like the Note 8, and the CPU has been upgraded as well when compared to the Atom Z3740.

Asus-VivoTab-8It measure at 8.8mm thin and weighs 330 grams. The Asus ViVoTab 8 has dual speakers and is particularly designed to taking notes since it is light, as per ASUS. It is paired with a 1GB of RAM, and packs 32GB of built-in storage with expansion microSD card slot (up to 64GB). The RAM will be depending on the location and region as though.

It flaunts with a 8-inch High-definition 1280 x 800) LED Backlight IPS 10 finger multi-touch display, Bundled with unlimited ASUS WebStorage (1 year); includes G-Sensor,Gyro sensor,E-compass and Hall sensor; supports WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and backed up by 15.2Whr battery which is rated to deliver up to 8 hours battery life.

VivoTab-8Its a Windows 8.1 tablet comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office 365 Personal. Stay productive with the touch-enhanced versions of Micro-soft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. The VivoTab 8 (M81C) has a rear-facing cameras that lets you take astounding images; as well as a front-facing camera for clear video chats.
