ASUS Transformer Prime Android 4.0 ICS Update Now Available – Download And Install

As announced a few days ago, Transformer Prime now gets the latest Google’s Android 4.0 OS – Ice Cream Sandwich update to its Eee Pad tablet. Android 4.0 wasn’t expected to be available until Thursday, January 12th, but ASUS has surprised all the owners of Transformer Prime with the release of the Ice Cream Sandwich.

Asus Transformer Prime Gets Android 4.0 ICS Update

Starting today, The Android 4.0 ICS will be rolling out for the Transformer Prime tablet, which seems like the wait will be over soon as ASUS has started pushing out the update earlier today.

The Asus Eee Pad Transformer update delivered over-the-air, the ICS 4.0 has already reached to some Prime owners, who also notified Engadget that they have already received and installed on their Transformer Primes and experiencing the taste of Ice Cream Sandwich as well.

For those of you that haven’t been notified about the update yet, this should happen today or in the coming days, as long as the Prime is connected to the Internet.

Note : While this update won’t remedy the GPS issues that many Prime users complain about, it does bring an impressive series of new features and a new UI to the table.
