Officially made available with a super high resolution display, multi-user support, impressive HD content and bundled with the best Google apps on the earlier Samsung-made Nexus 10 tablet. But now, it’s in reports that ASUS would be producing the next-gen Nexus 10 slate and coming soon. Means, Google switches the manufacture for the next-teaser of its 10-inch tablet from Samsung to ASUS reportedly. According to the on Friday, claiming that Nexus 7-maker ASUS has been appointed to build the next version of its big big brother. The ASUS Nexus 10 slate would be sold through the Google Play Store and Best Buy outlets in time for the holidays season.
The reason behind suggesting Asus rather than Samsung’s prospective submissions over the largest of the three Nexus devices, would be this. The original Nexus 10 was actually launched alongside the ASUS Nexus 7 last year but, it has failed to achieve the target when compared to the smaller version of Nexus tablet commerically.
It’s also suggested that ASUS’s Nexus 10 tablet would be arriving running Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie on board. Evidence that showcased as a a photo showing a new Nexus 10 in a store inventory system, clearly labeling Asus as the manufacturer.
Rumored that the update of Android 5.0 will also bring better Android optimization for laptops, an ASUS Transformer Nexus would be the perfect device to show off that new functionality. However, there are no accurate details about the new Nexus 10 tablet, though.
