Archos G9 Tablets Gets Updated To Android 4.0 ICS In February 2012

Everybody, i mean everyone needs the latest Google’s Android 4.0 OS – Ice Cream Sandwich to be updated on their smartphones and tablets. Archos announced back in December of last year that they would be upgrading their Archos G9 tablets to the Android’s 4.0 Ice Cream Sandiwch, that would be released at the first quarter of 2012.

Archos today confirmed that the ICS 4.0 update to its G9 tablets will be released in the first week of February 2012.

Android Police says: We did grab a photo of a G9 running ICS 4.0.1, but the version that should be arriving in about 3 weeks will be 4.0.3, which is exactly what we’d expect at this point. Not bad, Archos, not bad at all.

Wait! Archos also announced that the newer Archos G9 tablets will start shipping running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed a couple of weeks after the original update goes live and released.
