Officially now, Apple has confirmed the availability date for its new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus smartphones in India, as it goes on sale on October 17th. Revealing the India price, Apple has sent an email late on Sunday confirming Oct. 17 retail for both the 4.4-inch and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus models.
Pre-orders starting from October 7, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available to buy on October 17 in India and as far as the pricing and availability dates are official, so, you can consider these figures as the final retail pricing.
For the 16GB iPhone 6 variant – priced at Rs. 53,500 (roughly $870) and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus will start at Rs. 64,500 (approx $1047), respectively. The 64GB iPhone 6 will be priced at Rs. 62,500 (roughly $1,015) and for 128GB at Rs. 71,500 (roughly $1,160).
The 64GB iPhone 6 Plus will cost Rs. 71,500 (approx $1,160), before topping at INR 80,500 for the 128GB variant.
Apple in partnership with Ingram Micro, Redington, Rashi Peripherals and Reliance for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus launch in India as authorised ones.Confirmed that customers can pre-order the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus starting this week, specifically Tuesday, October 7.
About the pre-ordering procedure is unclear at the moment, but we expect that Apple retailed partners such as Imaging and Chroma to accept and take orders.
