According to some reliable sources, Android L has yet to receive a final name, though, speculated as “Lollipop’ and Android 4.5 L. Even so, we already know a lot about this new version of Google‘s OS, including the fact that manufacturers should start pushing Android L updates before the end of this year.
Although, we still have to wait a bit until Big G confirms official release dates, but now, we have details regarding Samsung Galaxy S5 and Note 4 may be getting Android L. According to SamMobile, it comes to sunlight.
As per the source, Samsung’s tow flagship smartphone and a phablet should be updated to Android L by the end of November, or in early December. Before that, The South Korean handsets won’t be the first to be receiving Android L update, as Google has offered it for its newly launched Android One smartphones, already. But nevertheless, Samsung users expecting it a bit earlier.
However, Samsung will have a lot of work to do optimizing its TouchWiz UI for Android L, and many other aspects regarding the update roll out.
