Microsoft is reportedly planning to launch three new Windows Phone 8.1 handsets this year, codenamed ‘Superman’, ‘McLaren’, and ‘Rock’. Today, we’ve got our first glimpse of the fourth Lumia device, pretty-much ready to introduce in mid-range section. The images shown as the subject of photos from a user on Chinese microblogging website Weibo, thought to be the Lumia 830.
The Nokia Lumia 830, speculated to be a mid-range device and said to be the successor to the Lumia 820. Right now, we are not sure about this topic, but from the images it appears to have an aluminum frame with polycarbonate back, similar to what we saw on the Lumia 925 and Lumia 930. It also got a smaller and more compact camera module on the rear, which has a Nokia’s PureView camera shape. From the front, the purported Lumia 830 looks like the latest Nokia XL Android-based smartphone.
Followed by the previously rumored info regarding Nokia Superman (Lumia device) will come with a 4.7-inch display acn can be expected to launch by this year, and the handset is also said to be the Microsoft’s first selfie-focused Windows Phone.
About the ‘McLaren’ codename, it’s speculated to have high-end specs and could be the flagship Windows Phone this year from Microsoft, featuring a 3D touch or Kinect-like gesture-based interface. Could be the successor to the Lumia 1020 and will sport a hump for rear camera at the pack panel.
Coming to third-rumored handset codenamed Rock, the smartphone is said to be a low-end device that could be something similar to Lumia 530. The fourth will be the Microsoft Nokia Lumis 830. Up till now nothing else is known about the device.
