Alleged Moto X+1 To Feature Optical Zoom Plus 3D Display, Touchless Control And More [Rumors]

The much-anticipated successor to the Moto X, the Moto X+1 had appeared in GFX Benchmark last week with some alleged specifications. Today, HelloMotoHK has once again released a set of specs sheet of the rumored phone slating that it will have something different from the previous speculations. Tipped to feature an optical zoom with 3D display!

moto-X-plus-1-blackAlthough the Moto X+1, continues ti stay in the limelight with a variety of rumors and leaks ahead of its expected launch on September 4. Specifications have been reported over the past few months, but the latest leak hints at some of the genuine features of the smartphone Motorola will be touting.

Suggested in the previous leaks, that Motorola Moto X+1 will sport a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera that supports 4K UDH and 2MP front-facing sensor. But nothing beyond that was mentioned about the optical zoom aspect. Further report states that the alleged device will also feature an advanced versions of specs such as touch-less control and active display which were originally used in Moto X.

Optical-Zoom on Moto X+1, which isn’t very common in smartphones, but rarely found only on camera-centric phones like Nokia Lumia 1020 with PureView camera tech.

Yet another feature was also shared by tipster HellomotoHK on its Facebook page, that was Moto X+1’s 3D Display, which referring to a curved display. The third feature said by the tipster was ‘Touchless Control’ in the Moto X+1. Speculated to be similar to the voice-control users already have on the Moto X, with always-on listening.

Just a few days ago we’re hearing about a Brazilian retailer’s point, which has listed the MotoX+1 as pre-sales listings of three variants – Black, Bamboo, and Leather, showing the smartphone to bear model name XT1097, a 5.20-inch HD display, a 2.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, and a 13-megapixel rear camera. It is said to run Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

Livraria Logos has also listed (also for pre-sale) a Motorola smartphone it is calling the Moto Titan DTV, said to be the successor to the Moto G. Quoted model number XT1069, and listed a 5″ HD display, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, and an 8-megapixle camera. The phone is also said to run Android 4.4.4 KitKat.

Next the @evleaks, last week posted a purported press render image showing the upcoming Moto X+1 leaked online. The alleged Moto X+1 render spotted with Verizon branding, tipping that the successor will be available on the mobile carrier.

The Moto X+1 is expected to have 5.2 inch screen with 1920 x 1080 in resolution. It will be powered by 2.47GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor in addition to the Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM. There is most likely 16GB of storage of which 10GB is available. The phone will have 12MP rear camera that supports 4K UHD and 2MP front facing camera.. Finally, the benchmark shows that Moto X+1 will run on Android KitKat 4.4.4.
