Purported iPhone 6 Lightning Port, Headphone Assembly And Rear Shell Allegedly Spotted

What the next Apple’s iPhone name would be? Highly-anticipated iPhone 6 or iPhone Air! Still been no shortage of leaks about this iPhone 6 innards. The latest leak that comes from Taiwan, deals with some accurate things that has not been tipped until now about the next-generation iPhone. First posted by Taiwan-based Apple Club, which apparently show the flex cable for the Lightning and headphone assembly of the purported iPhone, as well as leaked image of the alleged rear shell of the next iPhone 6 handset.

Images Depict Possible iPhone 6 Lightning/Headphone Flex Cable, Rear ShellAs per MacRumors citing the Taiwanese publication notes that the Lightning/headphone flex cable sitting alongside the microphone assembly in a similar manner seen on the iPhone 5s. Although, the headphone jack is seen with dual screw holes at the top of the assembly, which is a bit different from the one in the iPhone 5s.

The alleged iPhone 6’s rear shell in the leaked image shows what has been corroborated based on previous leaks, that the internal parts will sport various components of the device, like the antenna. Usual cut-outs for rear facing camera with flash and for the Apple logo branding in the middle spotted – which are both in-line with previous leaks.

As we creep closer to the prospective September launch date of the iPhone 6, part leaks may grow even more frequent. Thus far all part leaks have centered around the 4.7-inch iPhone, and this is because it is believed to be entering mass production ahead of the 5.5-inch version. The 5.5-inch iPhone 6 may enter production in August or September according to rumors, which means 5.5-inch part leaks could pick up over the next month or two as well.
