Alleged HTC One (M8 Eye) Images Shows Up 13MP Duo Camera In Leaked Press Render [News]

The Taiwanese giant HTC now looks like keeping an eye on the selfie trend for its upcoming gadgets, as you can see in the picture below, the rumored smartphone which comes with a name that won’t be familiar. It’s the HTC One M8 successor – alleged to be called it HTC One (M8 Eye), which comes with the same design as its One flagship. Talking about previously leaked HTC Eye (M8), followed by today’s. The image above shows up the similar design (form factor) as the HTC’s One (M8). And now, it looks like, HTC is slowly moving away from its UltraPixel camera tech. The Taiwan-based vendor is preparing a full-blown smartphone with enhanced photographic capabilities.

HTC is prepping its newcomer (HTC Eye or One (M8 Eye)), which will swap the underwhelming 4MP UltraPixel camera of the HTC One M8 for a perfect 13-megapixel DUO sensor. But the new render doesn’t introduce us with any new design, perhaps with a slightly bigger 5.2-inch screen and the rest of the specifications remain the same, except for the improved camera set-of-box. The secondary sensor for depth of field measuring will also be on board.

Camera aside, the inclusions of the HTC M8 Eye are tipped to be more identical to those of the official. Packs Snapdragon 801 SoC, 5″ 1080p display, and Sense-d Android 4.4.4 Kitkat out-of-the-box.

Last but not least, we’re not so surprised to see the HTC Eye make an appearance on October 8, where HTC will be showing it on its press event.
