Acer Iconia Tab A510 With Tegra 3 To Hit European Retailers This April at €500

Following the launch of Iconia Tab A700, Acer in now revealing its second quad-core tablet, Iconia Tab A510 with Tegra 3, which is expected in Europe in this April. According to the sources, the price of this device would be around €500.

There are not many diffirent specifications inbetween A700 and A510 as they both featured with a quad-core Tegra 3 processor and a 10.1-inch display. But, in the resolution, there is a gap to certainely mention. The Iconia Tab A700  rises to the resolution of a 1080p HD display with 1920 X 1280 pixels while the Iconia Tab A510 will be limited to the 1280 X 800 resolution as in the last year’s Iconia Tab A500.

The Acer’s new Iconia Tab A510, which is expected to be launched in April 2012, is equipped with Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform out of the box. Apart from the price, Acer disclosed some more specifications of this divice. The Iconia Tab A510 will come with 1 GB RAM, Dolby Mobile audio for an enhanced audio experiencing, dual cameras, and 16 GB of internal storage.

While the Acer is planing to release its Iconia Tab A510 With Tegra 3 in Europe in this April, there are some speculations spreading in the market, that this device will be a close competitor to the first tablet to debut with NVIDIA’s quad-core Tegra 3 processor, that is Acer’s rival Asus’s Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablet. Unlike the Iconia Tab A510, the Transformer Prime will also come with the option for a transforming laptop dock  which can convert the tablet into a laptop-like form factor complete with an extended battery, additional ports, keyboard, and trackpad.

We will see it physically in April 2012 and then we will compare it with other Tablets ourselves. Until then be on the rumors!
