Have you heard about this odd tablet that ASUS announced an Android tablet back during CES earlier this year called “Asus Eee Pad MeMo M171″, which now on its way gone for sale in Thaiwan customers. This news came straight from the guys over at Netbooknews who were able to pick up and manged to get their hands on this low price new Android tablet. Details after the break!
The new Asus Eee Pad MeMo M171 features a dual core 1.2GHaz processor, boasting a 7-inch WXGA (1,280 x 800) IPS capacitive touchpanel, a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm 8260 processor, a gigabyte of memory, 16GB / 32GB of storage, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, a 1.2 megapixel front / 5 megapixel rear camera (with 1080p recording), an A-GPS sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor and a micro-USB port. There’s a 4,400mAh Li-polymer battery reportedly good for some 8.5 hours of video playback, and it’ll be Android 4.0.1 running the show.
Originally the device comes with Android 3.2 Honeycomb, although it will be getting an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update shortly after release, you can now have a look at this video below shows everything.
