Apple is now rolling out the new EFI Firmware update for its range of 2011 Mac Mini, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and iMac Systems. To fix various issues, Apple has pushed this new Firmware update for the said systems and notebooks that improves the stability of Mac OS systems and are recommended for all OS X owners.
According to the release notes:
“This update improves the reliability of booting from the network, addresses an issue that can prevent HDCP authentication after a reboot, and resolves an issue with boot device selection when a USB storage device is hot-plugged.”
