The Taiwanese-based company Asus goal has started by announcing 10 thousand units of its ZenFone 5 smartphone – up for sale on Saturday on Flipkart. Exclusive online retail partner of the ASUS company since long ago.
Asus officially launched ZenFone 5 in India last month along with its other smartphone in the ZenFone series, and went on sale via Flipkart and authorized channels at a starting price of Rs. 9,999. Eventually went out of stock in just four days, and finally, once again the Taiwanese-based smartphone manufacturer, Asus has announce to send up to 10,000 ZenFone 5 units stock on Flipkart, which will be available for purchase starting today, August 9.
Unfortunately, the company however did not confirmed the exact split between storage variants, with no mention of how many units of ZenFone 5 8GB and how many ZenFone 5 16GB smartphones go on sale through the e-Commerce website.
Both the ZenFone 5 alongside ZenFone 6 already received the new FOTA software update, bringing the best third-party app support, compatible system UI, stability and as well as an increase in the brightness of the LED flash while clicking pictures.
The ZenFone 5 features 5-inch 720×1280 pixel IPS display; a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor with Hyper-Threading technology (implying 4 threads); 2GB of RAM; an 8-megapixel rear camera; a 2-megapixel front facing camera; 8GB/16GB inbuilt storage; expandable storage via microSD card (up to 64GB), and a 2110mAh battery.

The Asus ZenFone 5 was launched alongside the ZenFone 4 and the ZenFone 6 last month. The ZenFone 5 (8GB) was unveiled at Rs. 9,999, while the 16GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 12,999. Available via FlipKart starting today!
